Independence Day!

On July 4, 1776, the Second Continental Congress unanimously adopted the Declaration of Independence, announcing the colonies' separation from Great Britain. The Constitution provides the legal and governmental framework for the United States. However, the Declaration, with its eloquent assertion "all Men are created equal," is equally beloved by the American people.

The air smells of bbq, hot dogs, and hamburgers cooking to perfection. Flags proudly displayed to celebrate our freedom. Tables full of food, salads and deserts of every kind. Red, white and blue decorations everywhere. Families and friends gathered to fellowship awaiting the fireworks that will follow when night falls. What a glorious and fun filled day!!

We at Sims Painting hope that your 4th has been wonderfully blessed!

Just something to ponder:

"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

God Bless You All!!
